The new product is designed for Ethernet communication using TCP / IP, complements the range already available for Profibus and Profinet.
The new Simatic RF182C communication module is suitable for all write / read all RFID systems with the exception of Moby R. Its high degree of protection IP67, can be installed outside the cabinet, walking the process, the connection by connectors, a faster implementation. The base module can be connected in parallel to two write / read RFID. Three different terminal blocks allow you to integrate the RF182C in the field, optionally with RJ45 connectors push-pull type, M12, 7 / 8 inches and 5-pole or 7 / 8 inch and 4 poles.
The Simatic RF182C commands programmed with standard XML. This module can be easily integrated communication systems based on PC or connect to standard PLCs or controllers on the market. As the parameters are stored in the Ethernet connection block, the user can easily replace the base module without interrupting the network.
